Howdy farmers, welcome to the Bumpkin’s Almanac, your daily digest for the #1 Web3 game, Sunflower Land. This issue is for Sunday, February 16th, 2025.

It’s the last day of the first Spring season ever put on by the game. This season we saw:

• The Acorn House decoration being traded on the Marketplace for more than the price it could be bought for from Stella’s Megastore. Always check to see if something can be bought somewhere else!

• Rhubarb! A new quick crop fitting in between Potatoes and Pumpkins. Keep hold of any you grew, since it won’t be available for another 4 weeks!

• The price of Corn went down a bit, which animal-based farmers will be happy to note.

• The first Full Moon event occurred. Previously, Full Moons only gave an increase in the chance for Marine Marvels. Now, there will also be three special fruits that can only be bought and planted on that day, and special bonus for a particular purple nightshade crop! (Although, that won’t be useful until May’s Full Moon, but oh well)

It wasn’t clear what the new fruits would be used for, but now we know they’re a component in the Lava Pit, a special resource node in the Volcano Island top-tier area. Which means, only top-tier players will be buying them.

As of reporting time, Duskberries are trading for a much more respectable 4 SFL/unit. You can also sell them back to Betty for 1000 coins apiece! That means you break even with a single harvest, and everything else is pure profit. No matter what you do with them, the new moon berries are definitely worth your time!
