Howdy farmers, welcome to the Bumpkin’s Almanac, your daily digest for the #1 Web3 farming game, Sunflower Land. This issue is for Wednesday, February 19th, 2025.

Have you gotten your Acorn Hat yet? It’s one of three items this Chapter that boosts the number of Timeshards you get from deliveries, chores, and other sources. It’s also the only wearable boost. The previous Chapter, Bull Run, had all the boosters as wearables, so this time you’ll get some extra spaces on your Bumpkin or farm hands.

Fun Fact: Chapter tickets used to be called Seasonal tickets, until the word Seasonal got reserved for the weekly Seasons. You could also obtain them by finding a crop reward (when you have to solve a puzzle to get extra seeds as you harvest a crop), but that was removed some time ago. I guess enough people were just grinding out Sunflowers and getting too many tickets. That’s only an issue for two weeks out of every month, now!

It’s still a long ways off, but when this Chapter finally ends, don’t worry if you have some Timeshards left over. You can always turn them into Garbo at the Goblin’s Retreat for a few extra coins, or you can just admire them in your inventory. I’ve also heard that Bert may ask for them in the future…

Speaking of Garbo, he’s now dealing in Water Wells! A recent update removed the need to build multiple Wells to support all of the crop plots on your farm; instead you build one and then upgrade it multiple times. Good news, though, each of your existing Wells have been upgraded to the level equal to the number of Wells you had: four Wells means you now have four Level 4 Wells, having three means they’re all Level 3, and so on. The extra Wells can be sold to Garbo to recoup the resources you spent on them. This should help with decoration crowding later on.
