Howdy farmers, welcome to the Bumpkin’s Almanac, your daily digest for the #1 Web3 farming game, Sunflower Land. This issue is for Sunday, March 2nd, 2025.

Yesterday was a first, or at least as far as I know it was. Two Gift Givers entered the Plaza at the same time, community manager Labochi and developer LittleEins, blessing the farmers assembled there. They seem to be understanding of the crowding problem as they both moved around periodically, making it much easier for people to actually reach them for a gift. You could still only claim one gift, though! That’s another thing that resets every day.

Fun Fact: The Gift Giver role is actually determined by an item, a wearable called the Gift-Giver Shirt, which is only given to certain community members for obvious reasons. These players can equip the shirt when the time comes, then go back to their regular farming roles when they’re finished.

Today is the first day of Winter! Parsnips are only growable during this Season, so make sure to stock up on those. The first Random Event Day isn’t until Wednesday, so that gives you time to prepare if you don’t have a Thermal Stone on your farm.
